Lost Returns!

In honor of the return of Lost, we made fish for dinner.

And really, I should have chosen a better recipe. Or a better fish. I tried a Cooking Light recipe from the current issue (as you can see from the above photo), called Roasted Tilapia with Tomatoes and Olives, but replaced it with Mahi-mahi because the store did not have any Tilapia. Anything I just wrote might have been the mistake; the recipe, the store, the fish?

So by now, you obviously know it didn't turn out as we had hoped. The fish was salty and had a not-quite-right texture. Husband questioned if it was done. The tomatoes and olives were good, but with two cloves of minced garlic, they were almost overpowering.

But we struggled through, and at least the dish was easy. Oh well. Sorry, dear cast of Lost. At least you didn't disappoint, although the hour sure did go fast. I won't give anything away, but I sure wish that writer's strick would end so we could follow Jack and Kate and Sawyer for a while longer.
